I decided to decorate a little corner of my room for the month's festivities, giving in to all of that fall cliche stuff. I couldn't get down with the 8-10$ price tags on the majority of pumpkins, and instead went with a little acorn squash to kick things off. I'm definitely going to add a few of the teeny tiny pumpkins when I come across them in the supa-market.
I'm not feeling quite old enough to put up a wreath (gag) and "happy halloween" felt bland, so I went for a 30 Rock reference on the banner. I like that I can recycle the circular pieces of cardstock for another season's sassy quote, since I only taped on the letters. The paint chips are passing as fun confetti quite well, can't beat that whole FREE aspect either!
The moon jar is going to be around full time, and I can't wait to try a few variations. I received an extensive glass jar collection from work so I'll be toying with new ideas for the next few weeks.
Have any great mason jar crafts for me to try? Do you bother decorating for Halloween / Thanksgiving?
